My story¬
My name is River Edén.
I was born in 1979 in a small town up north of Sweden in a town called Falun and moved to Stockholm in my early 20's. That's when I started explored my musical taste, as well as different lifestyles, some that where good, and some who made my life into a living hell. Eventually I found myself trapped in a serious drug absuse that nearly got me killed..
Luckely I survived and found solutions for my life, and today I live clean thanks to a 12 steps program.
For this I'm deeply grateful, I now have a new life where I can blossom once again and explore new horizons.
I've been into all kinds of music since I can remember.
But through out the years I've become more and more interested in the electronic music genre. And especially the chilled out corners of it, as you will notice in my productions.
-There's nothing better than a day filled with blissful music.
My Styles¬
Ambient, Chillout, Lounge, House, Chill house, Beach house, Progressive house, Trance, Psychedelic, Experimental and growing..
My Mixing¬
First of all I choose the tracks very carefully. The tracks has to be as timeless as possible. I then ensure the tracks fit togheter nicely, not only technical but also emotionally as well.
I believe combining these 3 elements makes the magic.
When i have suceeded blending these essential elements, I know I have made a great mix.
I treat the creation of the mixes as a competition with myself.
It's not always easy and it's also quite time consuming.
But it's so worth it, because the mixes are ment to last forever, or at least for a very long time. I also don't use too commercial music for this reason.
'An emotional journey through mind and soul' is the feeling I want to create with my mixes, and I hope I will get you aboard the same plane!
