This mix is smoothhh, silky smooth. There's definitely a lot of style and
taste to it but it's very subtle. Good job!

The Purple room is really a great mix. Especially the first part of the mix
is fantastic. The combination of numbers is very well chosen, especially the
part with World Colours and Cosmotherapy is a favorite of mine. I replay
this pieces often and I like to play it in the car as well.

As always this DJ River mix is of the highest standard, perfectly mixed and
ordered with a highly professional flow from track to track. His choice of
tracks to add to every mix just seems to work everytime. The Purple Room is
no exception to this rule and is just as smooth as previous offerings.
I'm really not qualified to provide a review because I just like River's
stuff so much.

Well ,another 'corker' from you river.Nice slow soothing sounds and a varied
mix that all seem to be as a whole.I sometimes wonder where you find all of
the songs in your mixes, as 90% of them are tracks ive never heard of (and
that 90% are tracks i should have heard because they are all excellent).
well i just wanted to say thank you for giving me just what i needed, and
hopefully the listeners of your site all have that feeling i have when they
listen to your mixes... position 520!!!!...you are number 1 in my book but
not everyone likes your style of music i suppose (!fools!)

I want to write a review about the previous review here. I haven't even
listened to the mix yet. I just know it will be good. And I want to say
thank you to Dj River for making music such a beautiful experience. (like
all good djs). I am relatively new to listening to music in this fashion.
But I enjoy it very much. My life is full of hardships, and this is the only
thing that gets me by. Perhaps not, but it is such a powerful weapon, it is
perhaps what arms the mind against the foes of fear and sadness. And, I love
the Dj River website, just wanted to add that.

The last track is close to the end, and I'm writing!
First of all - the River standard is 100% realized in this compilation - top
sound, top tunes, top mixing. As for the music itself, up to the middle it
is a bit sad, and quite beautiful. I was thinking about a girl I like,
listening to romantic jazzy tunes. Closer to the end, it turns out that
life's good :P. I guess, River doesn't like to be sad all the time. Just
like me.
What can I say... It's pure bliss. Intelligent music for people who love to
live, who appreciate life and music as an integral part of it.
Keep up the excellent work (yes - excellent!), it is greatly appreciated!

Im listening to it now. So far, up to 2nd track. This is a very interesting
mix and track selection. Lots of vocal, which is not bad. At first i thought
the 2nd track was going to be a rap song or something. lol. But very nice
lyrics, very nice beat. I can see my self listening to this often.
Hmm, but honestly, im not liking track 3. Its not really hitting the spot. I
dont like the vocals, i honestly think they dont go into the mix well.. But
on another note, i feel that your track selection is depicting the way you
may be feeling in real life? Not sure if thats true or not :)
Hmm ok.. well i just listened to the rest of the whole mix. Didnt wanna keep
talking bout each track. I really like the way this is set up. A nice slow
beat vocal start that kinda builds the feeling up and up more after each
track. Track 4 is a great track in this mix. One of my favorites, love the
female vocals, very tranquil, relaxing, and mesmerizing (hope i spelt that
right).
DJ river, you have done it yet again. Compiled, and created another
wonderful mix. Besides 1 track i personally might not like or agree on being
in the mix. I still love this mix. The energy, and emotion from this mix i
believe depicts how you feel or felt when creating the mix at the time.
Great job, and well done. Yet another accomplishment by DJ River.
