The Orange Room (Spring 2005)
Of all the mixes I have heard from DJ River (about 8) this is MY FAVOURITE!
It has a lounge feel to it without being borring or repetitive. I am VERY hard
to please so getting a 10/10 is like me bowing down.
Keep them comin, I first discovered you on DI.fm and to my surprise you allow
people to download your mixes, this alone keeps me coming back for more. One
day I will listen to them all.

Once again I'm completely blown away with the sheer quality of DJ River's
mixing, let alone indeed the meticulously chosen and ordered tunes which are
so perfectly infused. Thank you Sir River for making available genuinely the
best downtempo house set I've ever heard - absolutely fantastic!

The one I like the most so far. A bit of latin rithm ( remind me of brasilian
music ) an big suprise with some words in Portuguese.
Smooth and soft music that gets you into the groove.

An absolutely seamless mix of downtempo house. djRIVER sets the mood just the way it aught to be: refreshing yet relaxing. Its THE music to play during those easy hours of dusk to midnight. The song selection might just be a little too nice and safe. If the dj were a bartender, then adding slice of lemon would be the perfect touch. But overall, this is an exceptional compilation by an exceptionally skilled dj. Its cool!

First of all, separate thanks and big respect for the first track - this is one of my favourite mixes ever. Secondly... The mix is awesome! Very high quality, very inspiring, very moody. You must have been inspired by some Indian noice.. cuz the tunes in it are wIck3d! This mix really kept me goin' through this day.. inspiring, relaxing and on the other side even funky seems to me.. The music choise is as always good, to be honoust, a tad better than the Reminder! Keep it up like THIZ!

Diverse and unusual, exotic and multi-demensional. The Orange Room is more akin to a journey through worlds of shifting tones and visual predilection, then a typical trip to a musical destination. DJ River uses his unique blending and mixing ability to conjure up another truly anomalous musical escape.
