this is what i have been looking for in music....a pure emotional journey and
dark and brooding....it fits the human psyche because of the way every human
being goes through emotions like night and day.....i have to give some major
props to DJ River for this and all his musical creations.....
i can't wait for volume 2 of this series.....

This is an excellent mix. Very mature and experimental, yet with a common
thread of constantly evolving and engaging soundscapes. It is reminiscent of
Banco de Gaia in some parts and also William Orbit in others.
Very original though, relaxing, and intriguing. This is a haunting journey
through space and mind. You could see yourself practicing deep transcendental
meditation whilst listening to this music in the background. Or you can just
sit in silence for a while and let your thoughts wander along the ever
changing pathways created by the sound.
Be warned, this is not to everyone’s liking. I have been into this type of
sound for a number of years now and have met very few people who appreciate
this. There are also very few artists who can create the mood and depth that
River manages to convey through his music. I think this mix will appeal more
to the abstract amongst us. It is perfect for those introspective moods that
some of us find ourselves in from time to time.

A definite delivery of haunting, electronic feelings and symphonic, misty
chills. Dark and intrepid, as if you as the listener are walking cautiously
through the uncharter territories of space and time. This mix is an invitation
to Reach out your mind and touch the unknown. When you do, You will find it
Mysterious and Beautiful.

Dont expect to jump around the room to this music, dont expect constant,
pumping baselines. What you get in DJ Rivers Liquid Nonsense Vol. 1 is a
cruisy glide through the spectral realm of Ambient & Psychill.
Its relaxing at times, with deep throbs sounding like heartbeats underneath
chime-like piano samples; at other places it is like a cold and foreign world.
Liquid Nonsense Vol. 1 wont give you the same old tunes you may expect from DJ
River, but it will hopefully excite and intrigue you with the fore-taste of
Rivers new adventure into a refreshing genre of electronic music.

Liquid nonsense sounds very mature and refined. Certain sections of it
reminded me of the stargate sequence from Stanley Kubrick's 2001 A Space
Odyssey. There also were some very promising parts (such as the unique
soundscapes) that I felt could have gotten more attention. But from what I've
read this is the start of a different approach which really started to show at
the end. The end was very solid. Good looks for the maturity shown here and
for taking the music toward a fresh direction.

Just Perfect.. Very psychedelic..my opinion, try found some tracks from future
sound of london if u want a ambient experimental mix next time..ah and some
tracks from tangerine dream is very good but hard to find!

Sorry mate, but for some reason I'm just not feeling this. I think you hit
something spectacular with the coloured room sessions...but this is just not
hitting it for me I'm afraid.
Whilst I understand that this is the first part of something bigger, I cant
help but feel disappointed that after waiting so long it's not better.
Sorry...but I really hope you get some positive feedback.

calm before it builds and gains momentum near the end. I'm excited to hear

wow, this mix left me feeling alone in a cave of lights so to speak.
it's a wonderful ocean of soundscapes in which i'm bathing against a
psychedelic backdrop.

Hey River,
I've listened to your mixes now for quite sometime. I've enjoyed every one
that you have created. You have a certain style of music selection and mixing
that can *not* be matched.
In all honesty, I was expecting a new Ambient Chillout Mix to be released,
however the new Liquid Nonsense mix completely blew away my expectations and
raised the bar yet again.
Well done River. Your a talented man and I hope to hear more mixes from you.
